Someone looked at this one from the Archive today.

From three years ago, it doesn’t seem any less current than it did then. If anything, moreso. Of course, if one is appropriately understanding the Word of God, currency is constant, now isn’t it./THB

It is intrinsic to the doctrine of creation that human beings in sin are the supreme environmental threat.

Motyer does not write of ‘environmental threat’ in the manner of environmentalists. Instead, sinful man living upon the face of the earth has brought covenantal curse upon it. Because of man, the earth has become a ‘city of emptiness, of meaninglessness.’ Separated from Yahweh’s purposes, all of life spins further and further out of balance.
