Not to furious delirium…

We bless God, many of us, that when we lived in sin, yet we were not given over to a furious delirium of it—there was method in our madness. We claim no credit for this, but we do thank God for it, that we were not whirled along like rolling things before the tempest, but were restrained and kept within the bounds of outward propriety.
