Look for Jesus first…

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Matthew 11:25-26

There is a risk for us. What do you read in your Bible? What do you see? Do you see things you are supposed to…do? Do you see things you are supposed to believe? Or do you see Jesus? Because Jesus is on every page of this.

We are talking about the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the descendants of the people who followed cloud and fire for forty years on the way to the Promised Land. We are talking about people who had the prophecy of Isaiah 120 years before Cyrus would send them back to the Promised Land. Yet they have looked in their Scriptures and they no longer see Messiah. They see rules…and they know them really well. But they don’t see Jesus.

I want you to know brothers and sisters in Christ, if you come up against a really dedicated atheist, he may know this book better than you do. And the demons know the truth…they just don’t trust Jesus for it.

So when you look into this book, look for Jesus first.
