A modicum of mercy…

John Calvin on Isaiah 44:1…

“Yet hear me now, O Jacob My servant,
And Israel whom I have chosen.

Hence infer, that God is never so angry with his church as not to leave some room for mercy, as we have already seen on many occasions.
