Theology of righteous having been made perfect…

A friend of mine died today. He was a good friend and dear brother, a man with whom I had some deep and sometimes vigorous theological disagreements, yet whom I love and whose salvation I never had reason to doubt for a second. Now his soul resides in the presence of Christ, one of those ‘righteous having been made perfect’ who waits for us. (Hebrews 12:23) I rest knowing that my friend’s theology is now right, along with his soul also perfect, and wait for a day when I will join him and mine will be, too. Requiescat in pace
